JOS Matriculation Higher Secondary School is the legacy of our founder Mr. M. Meeran Mohideen and
Mrs. Mahumuthal Meeran Mohideen, A visionary without formal education whose dream was to ensure every
child has access to the same standard of education. They envisioned a school where rural children could
receive the advantages of English-Medium Education, empowering them to compete on a global stage.
Beginning as JOS Nursery and Primary School, the institution quickly gained recognition as the first EnglishMedium School in Seydunganallur. Thanks to the tireless efforts and unwavering determination of our founder,
management members, the teachers and everyone who were part of the school expanded to become what it
is today – A Place of Learning, Growth and Inspiration.
Although we lost our beloved founders Mr. Meeran Mohideen in 2019 and Mrs. Mahumuthal Meeran Mohideen
in 2024, their visions and dedication continue to guide us. Their dream lives on in every classroom, in every
achievement and in every student who walks through our doors.
